The top blankets on the bed looked kinda old and not very clean. A little yucky, honestly. The extra credit card hold for no smoking was annoying, but I guess it’s a necessary precaution.

I loved that I was just a few steps away from Louisiana Fried Chicken & Wings, perfect for grabbing a quick bite after exploring, and the relaxing views at San Marcos Golf Course were an added bonus that enhanced my weekend strolls in the area.

the staff at best western were exceptionally friendly and helpful. the breakfast area was always well-stocked, thanks to a wonderful attendant. the hotel was clean, and the rooms felt fresh despite their age. plus, it's conveniently located next to a busy mcdonald's and walgreens.
